The Learning Exchange - LEED® Gold Certification, 2011 Mohawk College Sustainability Office created the LEED® Tour to introduce students and visitors to the many design components of the H-Wing renewal project, and the LEED® Gold certification awarded to the building. The Tour is an opportunity to explore and interact with the features of this space. Intentionally designed to meet green building targets and inspire innovation as a Living Lab, the H-Wing is an indoor environment that promotes health, wellness and overall enjoyment. The David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre - LEED® Gold Candidate, 2013 The David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre is Mohawk’s second building designed to meet LEED® Gold building targets. Mohawk College recognizes the environmental and social impacts of sustainable indoor and outdoor building projects, while creating high quality spaces that foster academic excellence and encourage health and wellness on campus. The DBARC LEED® Tour introduces students and visitors to the design components of the new recreation centre, explaining the tangible benefits of the design and the impact each feature has on energy efficiency and cost savings.
