Project 1 : Wrap-up Friday Newsletter
UM6P has a weekly newsletter to all the community which highlight all events, actions, or achievements. Through the Friday Wrap-up, the sustainable development department has launched all its initiatives and latest news about sustainability on Campus. This newsletter reaches more than 2100 people (Students/Staff/Academics) of the university, in addition to colleagues from UM6P ecosystem including OCP, GEP...
Project 2 : Monthly Sustainability events Opportunities
Each Month, the Sustainable Development Department shares a monthly sum up of all national and global sustainability opportunities (Webinars, Conferences, Summits, Call for papers…etc)
Project 3 : Radio UM6P emissions
UM6P has a radio frequency available and accessible to everyone through a public link. The Sustainable Development Department and the Communication Office collaborated to launch three broadcasting programs.
** Minute DD – SD Minute :
on a daily basis, 15 minutes broadcast in the morning and the afternoon to share SD Practices
** Meet your UM6P SD Ambassadors : on a weekly basis, each SD Ambassador is highlighted in their own episodes to talk about their mission and vision related to sustainability;
** SDGs Host-Talks : on a monthly basis, an expert in a specific SDG is invited to talk about its details, indicators, and targets.
Project 4 : Social Media:
The Sustainable Development Department uses Social Media to disseminate aspects of sustainability at the campus, to broadcast the latest news related to sustainability and to promote events and highlight students’ sustainable initiatives.

Following on the UM6P Green Map developed by the Sustainable Development Department, " Sustainability Guaranteed " Signage is highlight in different places within the campus to highlight the sustainable aspects such as:
*The Olive University grove
*The main entrances of the buildings
*The University shuttle stations
*The electric vehicles and their charging station
*The solar installation highlighted in the buildings that uses Clean Energy
*The LEED Certified buildings...etc.

Project 1 : UM6P Green Map
The UM6P Green Map is a sustainability walking map that includes the UM6P CAMPUS, the Experimental Farm and the Green Energy Park. The map is offered to all students, staff, visitors. It is available online on the official website of the university as well as the UM6P Sustainable Development website and it is also added to the communication department guide that is offered to every students’ body and official delegation that visit the campus.
This interactive map highlights all the sustainable aspects such as:
• The Eco-Mobility aspect: UBIKE stations - The University shuttle stations – The charging stations for electric vehicles;
• The solar installation;
• The LEED Certified buildings;
• The COP22 zones;
• The smart houses built by students in the Solar Decathlon Competition.

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
1) SD Best practices
A best practices guide has been developed by the UM6P Sustainable Development Department in order to feature the best practices to incorporate sustainability in the students and staff's daily life at the campus.
We offered the manual for the community to implement effective sustainable acts and promote sustainability culture and behaviors around their schools, residencies, offices, classrooms and their houses as well. You can check it out on our website : sd.um6p.ma
2) 10 SD Practices during winter
Warm Winter SD Best practices is shared with all UM6P community during winter to adopt a better attitude to use equipment more sustainably and take care of their health more effectively.
3) The Eco-responsible Charter
Through this charter, UM6P shares its commitment with its suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their involvement in sustainable development. It mainly focuses on minimizing the environmental impact and ensuring a better social service to the local service providers and artisans. It applies to the following principles such as limiting the carbon footprint, avoiding over-consumptions, ensuring ethics in work, and implement waste reduction vision.
4) The Green Events certifications
This guide was designed with the collaboration of the Communication and Sustainable Development departments at UM6P.
Our objective is to encourage the UM6P community to adopt good sustainable development practices when organizing events and thus benefit from the "Sustainability Guaranteed" label represented by the graphic below.
The event organizers will, as a result, be able to proudly display the logo on all their communication media after successful verification of compliance with the criteria (herein included in the checklist at the end of the present document) done by a representative of the Communication and Sustainable Development departments.
5) SD Ramadan Practices
SD Practices are shared with UM6P community during Ramadan to adopt a better attitude to use equipment more sustainably and take care of their health more effectively.
