UM6P has no endowment and no foundation . UM6P development is supported by the OCP group, one of the world’s largest producers of phosphate and phosphate-based products. The OCP Group is a limited company. Currently, 95% of the OCP Group is owned by the Moroccan state. UM6P has no foundation handled by the university system and/or structured as a separate foundation of the institution.
