SCDD – Structure de concertation Développement Durable (Sustainable Development Concertation Committee)
The committee consists of UM6P staff, professors and students’ representatives who aim to implement a collaborative and a cross participatory work approach within the campus in collaboration with the other departments and offices. It serves as a structure of concertation and consultation of the Sustainable Development Projects and Initiatives.
It doesn’t only function as a support committee to strengthen and integrate the Sustainable Development components and culture at the UM6P but It also provides an advisory status to share the expertise of each department in the Sustainable development projects or initiatives in accordance with the sustainable development policy of the university.

The Sustainable Development Department is the main sustainability office of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. This entity is in charge of mobilizing the entire UM6P community (students, researchers and non-academic staff) in order to strengthen the sustainable development aspects in the institution's training, research and operations missions.
The Office consists of the head of department, an engineer project manager who is particularly in charge of the energetic and environmental operations, two project managers who are mainly in charge of the sustainable operations and the Campus engagement. The fourth member is a social animator who is in charge of the social initiatives and community service projects managed by the department.

The sustainable development department had officially started its missions in December 2019 after the nomination of Fadwa Baladi as the sustainable development manager of the university which is the institution-wide sustainability coordinating body. Since then, the department had started analyzing the STARS Accrediditation and assessing the university baseline in the four fields (Academic, Operations, engagements, planning and administartions). This assessment aims to set the sustainability targets of the university in order to strenghten its sustainable aspect within its all components.
