A brief description of the institution’s sustainability projects fund:

In August 2020, the UM6P Sustainable Development Department launched a call for projects for a UM6P sustainable development fund dedicated to students and staff to develop sustainable projects. The selected projects are the ones that directly tackle the SDGs and STARS accreditation criteria.
This fund has been developed to fulfill a common vision on implementing innovative, sustainable and collaborative projects within the campus.

A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:

The Sustainable Development fund is awarded to students based on their applications for the call of projects and the recommendations of the Sustainable Development Consertation Committee (Structure de concertation développement durable – SCDD) in their domain of expertise.
The committee has a representative from the students’ body, the Sustainable development department, other UM6P departments such as General affairs, communication…etc.
The recommended applications by the university sustainable development consultation committee are reviewed by the sustainable development department for final approval.
