A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
The Office of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engagement (OSE3) provides sustainability awareness during New Employee Orientation. Through this program, all new employees are made aware of the role of OSE3 and the Green Campus Committee, to advance sustainability on the campus, the Missouri S&T Sustainability Policy, and the sustainability initiatives of the campus including the geothermal energy project and Solar Village, and the sustainable transportation options and planned initiatives. All new employees also receive information about Missouri S&T’s ISO 14001-certified environmental management system including the requirements of environmental policy and objectives and targets for improved performance.
