A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
Missouri S&T provides opportunities for sustainability related training and professional development to all staff. These training opportunities are made available through the University’s my Learn online training system.
In addition, the University provides annual general awareness training to all employees on the ISO 14001-certified environmental management system (EMS). Through this online training course, employees are made aware of Missouri S&T’s environmental policy and commitments, its significant environmental aspects, and objectives and targets. Employees are also made aware of their individual responsibility for upholding the requirements of the environmental policy and EMS procedures in order to help the University improve its overall environmental performance.
