The name and a brief description of each student group:
The EcoMiners - Students for a Sustainable Future is a group of approximately 12 students working to raise awareness on campus of sustainability initiatives. They have participated in Earth Day events, America Recycles Day, Beyond Coal Campaign, and other activities. Currently, they provide free coffee and hot chocolate to anyone who visits them with a reusable mug. Their biggest input is with RecycleMania. They help with data gathering and mini-events to encourage students to participate.
