A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
All new full-time employees attend a New Employee Orientation. At this orientation, they are shown the Energy Monster video which highlights common behaviors that waste electricity and then encourages employees to make simple changes in order to reduce their energy use on campus and at home.
the video is available to employees through the My Learning portal in the employee intranet site.

New staff are provided with the Missouri State - At A Glance brochure, which emphasizes sustainability as a continued campus-wide goal.

Staff also receive an Environmental Management brochure, which provides information about their services, describes why compliance is important, outlines campus sustainability initiatives as well as other resources.

Unfortunately, we do not yet have a structured sustainability orientation for part-time employees, per course faculty, or GA's.
