A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
Our new student orientation for first-year students (SOAR) is a two-day, on-campus experience for students and their parents. As part of SOAR, sustainability is included in a pre-session slide show, featured in the SOAR handbook given to every incoming freshman, and through tabling during the Campus Expo.
Transfer students are exposed to our sustainability efforts via the Transfer Student Resource Fair on campus, as well as the recurring sustainability feature in the Transfer Student Newsletter sent out each month.
