The MSU Libraries offer a subject guide in sustainability: https://guides.library.missouristate.edu/sustainability The MSU Libraries also offer subject guides covering E-Books, Journal Articles, and Streaming Videos that support topics related to sustainability. For E-Books, these include Animal Science, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Geology, Human Rights, Native (Indigenous Peoples), Nutrition, Political Science, and Public Administration. For Journal Articles, these include Animal Science, Biology, Children, Environment, Energy, Health, Human Rights, International Relations, Nutrition, Travel and Tourism, and Weather and Climate. For streaming videos, these include Agriculture, Earth Sciences, Geography, Human Rights, Natural Sciences, and Technology and Society. The MSU Libraries offer Encyclopedias in the following topics: Agriculture, Biology, Cities, Environment, Food, Geography, Medicine, and the Social Sciences. Databases: These contain relevant scholarly, professional, and popular journal literature on sustainability and related topics. Subscriptions to large full text journal aggregations, focused indexing & abstracting services, and specific digital reference tools offer broad access to current periodical literature on the topic of sustainability. Some examples include: Academic Search Complete JSTOR GreenFile Environment Complete DOAJ, the Directory of Open Access Journals OATD, Open Access Theses and Dissertations Public Affairs Index Salem Science, includes Earth Science: Earth Materials and Resources Earth Science: Earth's Surface and History Earth Science: Earth’s Weather, Water, and Atmosphere Earth Science: Physics and Chemistry of the Earth Encyclopedia of Global Resources Principles of Sustainability Encyclopedia of Environmental Issues, Revised Edition Encyclopedias: These digital encyclopedias cover sustainability and related topics. Encyclopedia of American Environmental History Encyclopedia of Business Ethics and Society Encyclopedia of Pollution Encyclopedia of Soils in the Environment Guide to U.S. Foreign Policy: A Diplomatic History E-Books: The MSU Libraries has a database known as E-Books Academic, published by the EBSCO Corporation. It has over 150,000 E-Books covering many disciplines. Within this, a search for sustainability brings 1,560 E-Books. The subject Sustainability brings 58 E-Books. Print Books: For this, a search for sustainability brings 2,300 books across hundreds of related subject headings Journal Tracker: This tool allows a faculty member or student to search across approximately 20 platforms (e.g. EBSCO or JSTOR) for digital or print journals held by MSU. Within this, a search for sustainability brings 21 journals with sustainability in their titles.
