A brief description of the plan:
MSU has designated campus bikeways and publishes a map showing the campus bikeways as well as city bike paths in the campus area. We have a bicycle registration program, bike racks at multiple locations across campus, and an enforcement plan for bicycle operation and parking. For sustainability, we have a cooperative agreement with Residence Life to provide abandoned and found bikes for the Green Bike Program. MSU sponsors a "Bike, Bus, Walk to Work Week" as part of the wellness plan, and the campus recreation office conducts bike maintenance and repair workshops.
