A brief description of the snow and ice removal program, policy, or practice:
If classes are not in session during a snow/ice event, unused parking lots and sidewalks are not cleared and the snow/ice is allowed to melt naturally.
The University has invested in spreaders with gates so that the flow of material can be better controlled. These spreaders paid for themselves in their first season of use by preventing the waste of material.
