Course Redesign Grant
All members of the Mills faculty who wish to redesign an existing course are encouraged to include at least one of several goals, one goal being incorporating scholarship and current perspectives on racial and gender justice in particular, and social justice issues more broadly, in the course assignments and readings.
The Mellon Teaching Inquiry Project
Aimed giving faculty tools to make their course content more inclusive. Faculty receive payment for participating.
MACK Innovation Grant Program
Offers stipends for course design to support goals such as retention and student success for Latinx students and curricular enhancement related to Latinx communities and perspectives and support undergraduate student research and creative projects, which is a high impact practice that improves retention and success for first gen students and students of color and is one of the four components of Mills' signature experience.
