Mills College encourages "sustainability" research through participation in a directed research project in Environmental Science (0.25 credits per semester) during the academic year and also through summer student research in Chemistry (Langsley Fellowships) and Biology (Barrett Fellowships) both of which offer stipends for summer plus some funds for materials and equipment.
