The Mills Community Farm provides a physical, monetary, and personnel resource for faculty from various departments to take advantage of. The full-time Farm Manager assists faculty with bringing sustainable agriculture into course curriculum. Previous integration has included an optional add-on credit to an Environmental Policy course for the farm; a Plant Ecology lab at the farm; and a ceramics class development of tree planters (materials funded from farm funds).

Course development grants for courses that integrate the farm are in the works.
