Does the institution make cultural competence trainings and activities available to all students?:
Yes

A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:

1. Training activities are available to all students. For example, all incoming students go through a social justice dialogue and training as part of orientation.

2. All members of the Department of Student Life, including orientation leaders, resident assistants, spiritual and religious peer advisors, social justice peer educators, and other student leaders go through the DSLA student social justice training.

3. Dialogue and educational opportunities are available through the Diversity and Social Justice Resource Center, as well as other collaborations throughout campus. The Ethnic Studies Department host activities through heritage months. The Center for Urban School Partnerships hosts social justice events and create a link between campus and community partners. The Institute for Civic leadership creates educational opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. These opportunities vary between 45 min. lunch time programs individual trainings for clubs or to our community dialogues.
