A copy of the institution's definition of sustainability in the curriculum?:
Mills College strives to be a model of campus and community sustainability. We encourage our students, faculty, and staff to integrate principles of sustainability into all aspects of College life—academic, administrative, social, and operational. In so doing, we link our core mission of educating thoughtful, creative leaders with our role as responsible stewards of the world in which we live. We have adopted these definitions of sustainability in the curriculum:
Courses are "sustainability-focused" if they concentrate on the concept of sustainability, including its social, economic, and environmental dimensions, or examine an issue or topic using sustainability as a lens. Courses are "sustainability-related" if they incorporate sustainability among other course components or modules, or use sustainability examples to explain course concepts.
