A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
This report includes data from our Vermont campus including the central campus, Bread Loaf campus and Snow Bowl ski area. It does not include our graduate campus in Monterey, CA.
Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
Present? | Included? | |
Agricultural school | No | --- |
Medical school | No | --- |
Other professional school with labs or clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary) | No | --- |
Museum | Yes | Yes |
Satellite campus | Yes | Yes |
Farm larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres | No | --- |
Agricultural experiment station larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres | No | --- |
Hospital | No | --- |
The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
We did not include The Knoll in the above reports as its acreage is under five. However, this farm and educational land should be included in our overall report. The Knoll promotes awareness of issues surrounding food production and offers instruction and hands-on learning. We also host events, speakers, farm visits, and screenings related to topics in food, agriculture, and food justice on the land.
