A brief description of when and why the water use baseline was adopted:
We are using updated data provided by the Town of Middlebury who supply our water. We do not have data available to distinguish potable from non potable. Facilities estimates that in any given year about 2 to 5% of the water we use is for irrigation depending on the weather and any projects that require revegetation work. Potable water is used for human consumption and hygiene, food prep, cooling equipment, steam production, etc. A relatively small portion of the total is for direct human use.

Figures needed to determine "Weighted Campus Users":
Performance Year Baseline Year
Number of students resident on-site 3,967 2,988
Number of employees resident on-site 47 0
Number of other individuals resident on-site 0 0
Total full-time equivalent student enrollment 3,951 2,803
Full-time equivalent of employees 1,168 1,059
Full-time equivalent of students enrolled exclusively in distance education 0 0
