A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
While the Knoll does not function as a “community garden” wherein community members can come in and tend to plots as individuals, we do steward the space as a collective community resource (outside of COVID times) and we do grow, tend, and provide harvesting supplies for a 30’ radius “Grazing Garden” in which community members may come to harvest for themselves. Garden volunteer hours have historically been open to all community members. We grow over 3,000 pounds of produce through agreements with two local food security programs.
