Sustainability Solutions Lab First-year Outreach
A brief description of the campaign:
The Sustainability Solutions Lab hosts weekly programming in two first-year dorms focused on sustainability and the environment.

This is new program, so we do not have measured results yet. We are keeping track of the events, along with attendance and electrical usage in the dorms for later studies.

Employee Sustainability Pledge Benefit
A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):
The Sustainability Pledge Benefit encourages Middlebury employees to reduce their household and transportation carbon footprints by:
Learning about actions that can be taken by individuals to reduce carbon emissions from energy use at home and/or transportation choices,
Pledging to take first time actions to reduce carbon emissions from a list of actions which can be reimbursed through the pilot program, then waiting for confirmation from us to go ahead and make your purchase,
Taking your pledged first-time action and then submitting an application for reimbursement with proof of the action or purchase.

98 employees participated in this program. The most popular benefit chosen was a discount on an Energy Star appliance.
