Undergraduate Student Government: https://www.usgatmtu.mtu.edu/
USG has a direct line of communication to the Michigan Tech executive team, the University Senate, the Graduate Student Government, and the Board of Trustees. Our job is to ensure the student voice is heard when major policy decisions are being made. Talk with your USG representative or attend one of our weekly meetings (Wednesdays @ 7pm on Zoom) to share your concerns.
Graduate Student Government:
The GSG is a student organization that serves as a liaison between the University and graduate students, advocating on students’ behalf for the intellectual, social and professional lives of graduate students. We serve graduate students in several important ways and focus on providing opportunities for their personal and professional growth.

USG and GSG presidents both meet with our president monthly, and give formal reports and presentations to the Board of Trustees during each quarterly meeting, so our response to AASHE questions here don't really reflect the strength of their connection to the highest levels of governance at Michigan Tech.
