A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to non-academic staff:
since 2020, facilities management has created an annual sustainability plan that facilities managers use to help train union represented employees on institutional priorities and ways that they can help support sustainability initiatives through their work.

In 2022, for example, there was a joint training on updating and implementing IPM in campus buildings for all building managers and their direct reporting custodial and maintenance staff, and another to all back-of-house dining services staff on waste management best practices, including food waste, single stream recycling, and a new plastic film recycling program. We designed a resilience training for summer of 2023 that will impact all facilities staff.
