A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
We conducted a survey of faculty members. Respondents who conduct sustainability research were asked to include a description of their research. The response rate was low, so staff listings were looked at. This list was compiled through faculty and staff listings and their associated research areas in their department listing. Adjunct researchers were included but care was taken to not duplicate faculty/researchers in another department. For the most part, they were listed in their home department.
