A brief description of the incentive program(s):
Since 2021, the Tech Forward Initiative on Sustainability and Resilience has offered a Curriculum Innovation Award that provides funding and logistical support to create new coursework or retool existing coursework to develop sustainability-focused curriculum.

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
The Curriculum Innovation Award awarded $24k across 5 awards that resulted the development of 4 new courses and one completely retooled course in 2022. 3 of those courses have been offered at the time of this STARS submission (June 2023), and the other 2 are scheduled for the upcoming academic year.

The program continues in 2023, with an expanded budget and reach, netting 7 awards for a total of $34k that will result in 7 new or retooled courses for the 2023-24 academic year.
