Food and Beverage Purchasing Inventory
Required if pursuing either part of the credit:
Michigan Tech purchases produce-certified organic when available. A small amount of coffee purchases come from Fair Trade. MTU obtains local produce through the local co-op, other vendors, and the Wadsworth Hall garden. MTU also incorporates plant based foods in its sustainable dining efforts.

The director of dining services contacted our vendors and all items were then transferred onto a spreadsheet to keep for future records. Additionally, dining services keeps records of what is harvest and used from the Wadsworth Hall garden.
