Strategic Plan Sustainable Health Theme 2- Incorporate the importance of an inclusive and healthy society into the health curriculum;
Strategic Plan Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Theme -Update curricula by infusing DEI components throughout degree programs, minor programs and general education courses.
Strategic Plan Stewardship and Sustainability Strategic Theme - Expand sustainability teaching and learning opportunities through formal courses and co-curricular activities; Expand sustainability research and innovation through inter- and intra-institution partnerships to address climate solutions; Colleges with outreach and engagement and engaged scholarship integrated into college unit missions and strategic plans (100% by 2025).

Strategic Plan Stewardship and Sustainability Strategic Theme - Create a new University Comprehensive Facilities and Land Use Plan that embeds diversity, equity and inclusion; faculty, staff and student success; and sustainable health in the physical environment of MSU’s campuses and facilities by end of 2022; Enhance sustainability outreach and engagement by expanding volunteer opportunities for faculty, staff and students in support of local, state, regional, national and global partnerships as measured and reported in AASHE STARS with the goal of acheiving Platinum ranking by 2030.

The MSU Strategic Plan Stewardship and Sustainability Strategic Theme - we aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% from our 2010 baseline, eliminating 292,934 metric tons of CO2. Achieve climate neutrality by 2050 through technology innovation, fiscal stewardship and embedding sustainability into institutional culture; Create a new University Comprehensive Facilities and Land Use Plan that embeds diversity, equity and inclusion; faculty, staff and student success; and sustainable health in the physical environment of MSU’s campuses and facilities by end of 2022. Energy Transition Plan: % renewable energy 40 % by 2030.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a major strategic theme in the MSU Strategic Plan and it is embedded in other themes as well. In addition, 25 administrative units have developed their individual plans with goals and targets. Following are a sample of some of the target goals that have been set. Strategic Plan Diversity, Equity, and inclusion Strategic Theme - We will advance equity by eliminating race and ethnicity opportunity gaps across all subgroups of students by 2030.
Additionally, sustainable health also is one of the major strategic themes of the MSU Strategic Plan. Sustainable Health Theme 2 - Partner with communities and organizations to reduce health disparities (racial, ethnic, gender, rural-urban) in Michigan by 2030.

to review and recommend improvements on data categories, collection and management - Annual report from oversight committee regarding achievement and opportunity gaps; Number of new summer bridge program(s), number of students enrolled in program(s) and student satisfaction with program experience.
