Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a major strategic theme in the MSU Strategic Plan and it is embedded in other themes as well. In addition, 25 administrative units have developed their individual plans with goals and targets. Following are a sample of some of the target goals that have been set. Strategic Plan Diversity, Equity, and inclusion Strategic Theme - We will advance equity by eliminating race and ethnicity opportunity gaps across all subgroups of students by 2030.
Additionally, sustainable health also is one of the major strategic themes of the MSU Strategic Plan. Sustainable Health Theme 2 - Partner with communities and organizations to reduce health disparities (racial, ethnic, gender, rural-urban) in Michigan by 2030.
