Yes

A brief description of the child care program, policy, or practice:

MSU supports two on-campus centers that are both licensed by the State of Michigan and Accredited by the National Association of the Education of Young Children.
1. Spartan Child Development Center is located in the Spartan Village Apartment complex and is licensed for 143 children ages 6 weeks to six years old. Low income MSU students receive program fee subsidies for their enrolled children. The MSU administration and the U.S. Dept. of Education are the funders of the reduced rates for qualified families.
2. The Child Development Laboratory has one on-campus location and one facility affiliated with a local school district near campus. MSU students, staff and faculty receive a 5% discount on tuition fees, for children ages 2-6 years of age.

The MSU Family Resource Center also provides free Emergency Back-up Child Care and subsidized Sick Child Care services for MSU students, staff and faculty.
