A brief description of the program:
The MSU Bike Store offers bike rentals of two different types (basic and deluxe) for durations from an hour to a year. To date the Bike Store has rented almost 1000 bikes (cumulative total; returned bikes are subtracted from this total). This year students, faculty and staff have utilized the Bike Store for almost 500 long term and 138 short term rentals. The bikes that are available for rental are either recycled and/or reused bikes and were either abandoned or donated (the majority being abandoned) to the university.
