A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
The institutional boundary for this submission includes Miami University’s main campus in Oxford, Ohio. More specifically, the institutional boundary is everything Miami University owns in Oxford, Ohio. Included in this boundary is Miami’s Institute for Food Farm, as well as the University's Ecology Research Center. The Institute for Food Farm and Ecology Research Center are located in Oxford, Ohio. Excluded from the boundary are all satellite campuses and sites because these locations are not a part of the main campus. Combined, the institutional boundary encompasses a total of 2,325 acres (1,200 acres of which are unmanaged natural land areas).
Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
|Other professional school with labs and clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary)||No||No|
|Farm larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares||Yes||Yes|
|Agricultural experiment station larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares||Yes||Yes|
The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
Excluded from the boundary are all satellite campuses and sites, as these locations are not part of the main campus.
