Miami's Housing, Dining Recreation and Business Services (HDRBS) department purchased $71,000 in cleaning products from EcoLab in 2015. EcoLab assesses its products for human, environmental and societal impacts. It was estimated that 50% of the products (e.g., hand and hard surface cleaners) had a Green Seal rating. Physical Facilities' data was gathered with Grainger's customer report for the six month period of July - December 2015. (All values were doubled to estimate a full year.) Of the Grainger purchase, only EcoLogo certified products were counted as green.
