A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
All students are provided with the following PowerPoint including information regarding alternative transportation options such as the campus shuttle, subway routes, bus routes, and bicycle facilities. On-campus sustainability initiatives are also described such as our three-bin waste system and refillable water bottle stations. The PowerPoint is updated each semester to ensure the most up-to-date information is provided.
New students are also required to complete the D2L Preparing for Your Arrival Course. In this course, students are referred to MGH IHP's commuting resources on our website for information regarding sustainable transportation options to campus.
