Sustainability Master Plan
A brief description of the institution’s featured program, initiative, or accomplishment:
Development of a five-year sustainability master plan that includes goals in academics, campus engagement, diversity & equity, energy efficiency, greenhouse gases, grounds, transportation, and waste & recycling. The planning process was from April to October 2020 and involved over 30 staff and faculty. This planning process was the first time the College has set sustainability goals.

Emergency Ride Home
A brief description of the second program/initiative/accomplishment:
The Pass to Class program is a free bus pass program for eligible students (all credit and select other groups). The Emergency Ride Home program was approved in March 2020, paused once campuses closed, and has restarted in June 2021. The Emergency Ride Home program, which offers taxi rides to individuals in the Pass to Class program who need to leave immediately and cannot wait for the bus. This provides a support system for those who are concerned that switching their car for the bus means they won't be able to get where they need to be. Participants are allowed up to two free rides a quarter and the taxi company can accommodate bikes and disability needs. Program details can be found at www.mccneb.edu/erh.
