A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
We currently do not have a policy for LID in all projects, however, we do employ sustainable design guidelines that could be interpreted as LID practices. The guidelines are not currently used for any projects other than new construction.

MCC's current stormwater strategies have been primarily implemented as part of our Horticulture Land Systems Management program. In the future, we hope to expand our stormwater management practices to include more departments from the source.
The Fort campus features rainwater collection through rain barrels and a large solar-powered pump system for our Horticulture area.
Also, all of our new buildings are required to be built to LEED standards, which require stormwater management practices.
