Earth Month Campaign
A brief description of the campaign:
In 2020 and 2021 efforts were taken to significantly increase participation during Earth Month events. Weekly emails were sent to the sustainability newsletter group (students and staff), weekly announcements were listed on the intranet board, and social media posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram were increased to almost daily. In 2020, participants in the EcoChallenge program also received weekly emails about the program, highlighted challenges, and resources to complete the highlighted challenge.
Earth Day 2021 also includes a social media blitz with hourly posts on the College's sustainability goals and activities.
