A brief description of the policies and/or guidelines to improve outdoor air quality and minimize air pollutant emissions from mobile sources:
The college is aware of the impacts air pollutant emissions from mobile sources can have on our surrounding community. To that end, we offer free bus passes to students to encourage the use of public transportation rather than single occupancy vehicles. Additionally, MCC is currently moving towards low-emissions emitting vehicles when possible. Public Safety uses CNG vehicles and we are introducing electric vehicles into the campus fleet as budgets allow.
