Yes

A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :

MCC offers a monthly presentation on a sustainability related topic that is open to all staff and faculty. The program runs through the academic year and covers topics such as green building, sustainable businesses, how sustainability can impact community health, amongst other topics.

Additionally, all staff are invited to participate in the monthly Green Bag Lunch Series in which we invite a speaker to provide information on a variety of topics in a informal and conversational setting so that staff may feel comfortable asking questions. These are generally introductory type of sessions covering topics such as local food, how stormwater impacts them, green living 101, etc.
