A subset of the campus community or a sample that may not be representative of the entire community
Which of the following best describes the structure of the cultural assessment? The assessment is administered::
Without a follow-up assessment of the same cohort or representative samples of the same population
A brief description of how and when the cultural assessment(s) were developed and/or adopted:
In partnership with residence life, students are encouraged to take a sustainable living survey where they can assess their personal and apartment practices. There are educational pieces within the survey and students occasionally compete with each other.

---
A brief description of how representative samples were reached (if applicable) and how the cultural assessment is administered:
We partner with Residence Life to connect with RAs. The RAs can either require students on their floor to take the survey or encourage them to take it. As a result, we will regularly have over 200 students taking the survey from a wide array of buildings.
A brief summary of results from the cultural assessment:
Over time, students have adopted some practices and their knowledge has increased in areas of waste management; however, this assessment shows that a lot more education on the residential side of campus is needed to teach students about sustainability basics such as energy conservation, dietary practices, and other items that can lead to reduced resource consumption.
