A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
The 503 responses to the campus survey include a self-selecting sample of employees that chose to participate in a Campus Climate Survey in the Spring semester of 2017. There were representative samples from faculty and staff. This survey measured incidents of discrimination, harassment, institutional perceptions on safety, and goodwill, as well as satisfaction and security. Data from the survey is found at the employee only site found in the URL. This is a password-protected site.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
Results from the Campus Climate Survey were used to establish priorities related to addressing campus climate. Some priorities were initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion such as cultural intelligence training for all divisions at the University.

Human Resources and Compliance houses distribute a one-year employment survey. Specifically, this information has impacted our review and modification of the employee orientation process and resources.
