A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
The college is committed to working on identifying vehicles that are driven the most miles in order to transition them to hybrid vehicles at the end of their life cycle. Previously, the college's engineering department was creating biofuel to be used in all the campus gators; however, due to safety requirements, that project was shut down. There is 1 vehicle that uses biofuel for research and education.

The 2 hybrid vehicles are designated vehicles for facility services and the college President.

The total vehicles reported to STARS excludes trailers, golf carts, and gatros on the master list as they are not registered vehicles, but rather vehicle attachments or for off road use.
