A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Among the orientation resources and services for faculty and staff is included a comprehensive Staff Sustainability Guide, which informs staff on how to learn about sustainable initiatives at McGill, ways in which they can contribute to various initiatives on campus, and how they can connect with other sustainability-minded individuals. The guide covers topics such as waste management, the Sustainability Projects Fund, the Sustainable Workplace Certification program, sustainable travel, and many others. The guide is one of many resources pertaining to social responsibility available on the site, in addition to the McGill Administrative Handbook, Environmental Health and Safety guidelines, the policy on Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination, etc.
