The Employee Assistance Program, or EAP, is a confidential information, counselling and referral service for employees and members of the employee's family. The program offers support in dealing with a wide range of stressful situations.
The EAP is designed to provide employees with direct access to experienced professionals who will help them resolve their problems - before the problems affect their health, family life or job performance.
Confidential assistance is available for a broad range of personal and work-related concerns which may affect employees or their family members, such as:
* Personal and / or job stress
* Relationship issues
* Substance abuse
* Eldercare and childcare
* Parenting issues
* Separation and loss
* Balancing work and family
* Financial or legal problems
* Traumatic events
* Harassment
