A brief description of the metering system:
Steam, chilled water, and electrical meters are installed in several buildings on the Downtown Campus. Data from the different meters is sent to a centralized database maintained by Utilities and Energy Management. Steam and chilled water meters send their data through the buildings' main electrical meters.
A web interface is available for Utilities and Energy Management staff only for the moment. Data will be publicly available by the end of 2011.
