MIT Athletics installed a green roof on its bathroom pavilion at Steinbrenner Stadium and works with the Department of Facilities on the placement of recycling bins and compactors at indoor and outdoor athletic venues. MIT Athletics provides information to visitors about public transportation options to athletic facilities via the MBTA.
