A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
During the orientation process, employees are encouraged to take the online course: "Responsible Waste Disposal Practices" through the Learning Center. This educates them on the proper way to dispose of waste on campus and includes a game at the end to sort various common items. New employees are also introduced to the Access MIT program designed to encourage sustainable commuting through free monthly MBTA passes embedded in all employee ID cards.
