A brief description of the institution’s employee community service initiatives:
Mini-grants are available for faculty members to apply for in order to help them in their community service efforts if needed. For instance, one faculty member was granted funds to assist in helping create a recorded history of Tremont in the Great Smoky Mountains National park (GSMNP).
The institution also gives out annual awards to staff members for outstanding community service and dedication to the college.
