A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
With the last three years, the university has investigated converting some of the fleet to hybrid or electric vehicles. Due to the type of vehicles that the university owns (trucks and vans) it was decided at this time it is cost-prohibitive to convert the fleet. Within the next three years, a new assessment will be conducted.
