Has the institution developed a bicycle plan?:
Yes

A brief description of the plan:

Although not a bicycle plan by name, the Department of Public Safety has developed a University Policy and Procedure (UPP) limiting vehicular traffic on south campus and other related areas in order to help increase pedestrian and biker mobility and safety. The policy is meant to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Although essential and limited movement of vehicles is allowed (i.e. emergency situations and services/deliveries), indiscriminate and unauthorized driving on malls is strictly prohibited. In addition, vehicles are required to drive less than 5 mph and must stop completely when classes are changing, approximately 10 minutes before the hour until the top of the hour.

The 2006 Master Plan also focused on developing and enhancing existing city and university streets and roadways (Wisconsin Avenue, Wells Street), pedestrian malls, and quadrangles. These efforts were undertaken to bolster connectivity throughout campus and the community.
